The following outlines the process involved in turning garbage into valuable end products using a unique solution for recycling PET bottles:
- Plastic bottles are collected at local collection points and shipped to processing plants.
- Once removal of caps and labels take place, separation of PVC and PU bottles ocurrs.
- PU bottles are sterilized, crushed and chopped into little pieces.
- Pieces are melted and stirred to create strands.
- Fiber strands are then stretched, crimped and cut into short pieces.
- The thread is knitted and woven into fabric which in turn manufactured into useable end-products.
