Environmentally Preferred
Fiber

The following outlines the process involved in turning garbage into valuable end products using a unique solution for recycling PET bottles:

  • Plastic bottles are collected at local collection points and shipped to processing plants.
  • Once removal of caps and labels take place, separation of PVC and PU bottles ocurrs.
  • PU bottles are sterilized, crushed and chopped into little pieces.
  • Pieces are melted and stirred to create strands.
  • Fiber strands are then stretched, crimped and cut into short pieces.
  • The thread is knitted and woven into fabric which in turn manufactured into useable end-products.
Ethic becomes chic
Recent fashion shows in Paris, London, Milan and New York saw the emergence of the ethical-fashion concept. From now on and with no more contradiction, the sense of esthetics and responsible consumption can work together. Stylists are using more and more fibers issued from the eco-agriculture and from recycling, mixing industrial making process and traditional handcraft, preaching for environment protection and human right.
